What we do with the details you give us.
Who this is about
Solar Bee Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 1088462‑M), 13, Jalan TP3/3, Taman Perindustrian UEP, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor. We are the data user for the purposes of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What we collect
- When you fill in our contact form. Your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
- When you call or email us. Your phone number or email address, and whatever you tell us about your project.
- When you engage us for an installation. The details we need to design, install and register your solar system.
- When you visit this site. Nothing that identifies you. There is no analytics, advertising pixel or tracker of any kind on this site. Your visit does appear in the ordinary web server log our hosting company keeps, as it would on any website.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, prepare your quote, install and look after your solar system, handle the applications your project needs, and keep the records a business is required to keep. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell it.
Who else sees it
- SEDA, TNB and other authorities, when your installation needs an application or approval. They get the details that application asks for.
- Our website host and email provider, because this site and the messages from our contact form run on their systems.
- Anyone we are required by law to give it to.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for your enquiry or project, and for as long as the law requires a business to keep its records – seven years, for tax purposes.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies when you visit it, and it carries no advertising or tracking cookies.
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, the maps on our About Us and Contact Us pages come from Google Maps, and the video on our home page plays from YouTube. These services see the address you are connecting from as part of sending you the content, and Google Maps and YouTube may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to stop using it for a purpose you did not agree to. Email or call us and we will deal with it.
